Here is a scary article just in time for Halloween.

According to this Reuters article I received today from a client, one in five homeowners in this country are upside down on their current home loan, and this number is expected to rise if the economy continues tanking at its current rate.

Yikes! Is their a light at the end of this tunnel? Hopefully the new president, whomever that may be, brings about positive change.

Oh yeah. Happy Halloween!

Great new single family home in Truckee for $479,000

I recently listed this tastefully upgraded home in the popular Ponderosa Palisades neighborhood near Northstar.

Close to Downtown Truckee restaurants, the Sawtooth Trail, and backing to Ponderosa Ranchos, a prestigious acreage neighborhood, this home is a great deal.

With new bathrooms, flooring, an updated kitchen, and newly landscaped backyard, this home is worth checking out.

Maybe going to hell in a bucket, but at least I’m enjoying the riding.

The fall mountain biking in Tahoe has been absolutely epic lately. Especially after the storm that rolled through Tahoe this weekend. (and during, actually, if you were out there Sunday on the trail.)

If the economic news of the last week is getting you down, you might want to turn the television off, leave the Wachovia statements unopened, and get on your bike. That is what I am doing anyway, and it seems to be working.

The above photo is a picture from a really fun ride I took on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe this past Wednesday with friends Lel Tone, Jess Sobolowski-Quinn, and Shelly Waclo. Sure beats staying home and stressing out!

When everyone is buying, be scared. When everyone is scared, be buying.
